Chris Heaton
As President of Global Risk Consultants (GRC), Chris Heaton is responsible for all operational aspects of the global network. He has an extensive background in the areas of operations, administration, product development, system requirements design, strategic planning, and budgeting. He also serves as Director of Global Risk Miyamoto, the natural hazard consulting affiliate of Global Risk Consultants.
Mr. Heaton has considerable training and experience with windstorm, flood, and other natural catastrophe exposures. He has conducted numerous specialized site evaluations for the purpose of defining and quantifying NATCAT exposures, both on an individual and aggregate basis.
Prior to joining Global Risk Consultants, Mr. Heaton worked in the HPR insurance industry as a manager and field consultant. He conducted, managed, and coordinated loss prevention and engineering consulting activities, producing individual location reports, stewardship reports, and account summaries to various clients and end-users.
Mr. Heaton graduated from Texas Tech University with a BS in Civil Engineering and a BA in Architecture.
